Study association QBDBD offers its members a 10% discount on all textbooks that are required for the law programmes at VU Amsterdam. Syllabi, lecture notes, and summaries of the course material are also available (note: the 10% discount does not apply to these).
The QBDBD bookshop is permanently closed! Discounts on the books are available online through the QBDBD Webshop. For a small fee, the books can be delivered to your home. Payment is made via iDEAL. It is not possible to get a discount at the VU bookshop!
VU Bookshop
To collect your books, you can go to the counter of the VU Bookshop.
Opening hours: Monday–Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 and Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00.
Textbooks
In the QBDBD webshop, the (required) textbooks are generally available for the courses that are currently running or will start within two weeks. This applies to both the (required) bachelor courses and the (required) master courses. Textbooks for other foundation, elective, minor, and master courses are also available via the QBDBD webshop and can be ordered (5% discount) or reserved (10% discount).
Returns
Textbooks ordered via the webshop must be returned at the VU Bookshop on the ground floor.
Payment options
Payment in the bookshop is debit card only. Credit cards, book vouchers, and other types of vouchers are not accepted.
